Coming from someone who doesn't understand even the fist step involved in composing a song, to me, every aspect of the song-writing process is original. When you think about it, the artist is piecing together bits and pieces of themselves, their life experiences, their losses, their joyous moments...into what turns out to be something that could potentially inspire, sadden, excite, or calm any person who listens to it. What comes out of the originality of a song (the emotion felt by the listener), to me, is the most exciting part. An intriguing and thought-provoking blog, my fiance.
